Extend your limbs in front of you, your palms on the concrete. Maintain your stance for 5 to 10 minutes, then put your hands to your knees and slowly sit down. You should be able to repeat this pose at least three times.

Cat and Cow Pose – This pose serves to relax the back muscles. Start by getting down on your hands and knees. Slowly arch your back and press your spine; this is the cat part of your picture. Continue for a few seconds, then pull your spine back in while pressing your shoulder blades back and lifting your head; this is the cow part of your pose. Keep for a few seconds, then replay the entire sequence 5 to 10 times.

Upward Facing Dog Pose – This stance serves to open the shoulders and extend the abdominal muscles. Begin by lying on the floor with your legs together with the tops of your legs digging into the floor. Place your hands in the middle of your ribs on either side of the board. Using your back muscles to raise your chest off the floor; do not use your hands to do so. Keep this pose for 5 to 10 breaths; it can be repeated as much as appropriate.

Downward Facing Dog – The downward facing dog lengthens and strengthens the muscles of the back and legs. Begin by posing on your hands and knees, directly in front of your shoulders. Pick up your legs from the floor and raise your hips to the ceiling. Relax the muscles in your back.
